Jason and Thomas

Jason and Thomas

Brentwood, TN

Thomas and his stepdad, Jason, are both avid gamers and enjoy gaming as a family, similar to how most families enjoy TV. To balance their video gaming with other activities, their family spends time playing sports and attending games, including soccer, football and golf.

Jason's Gaming Tips
  • School work and chores come before playtime. Make certain that your kids understand that TV and games are rewards, not goals.
  • Make sure your children watch and play the right things by being there while they watch.

Joe and Connor

Joe and Connor

Versailles, KY

When Connor isn't playing video games with his dad or brother, or jamming with his family on Rock Band®, he enjoys skateboarding, playing guitar and hiking with the family.

Joe's Gaming Tips:
  • Set a time limit on how long your kids can play video games.
  • Remind them to take a break while playing video games.
  • Make sure the kids have done their homework before playing video games.
